Sweepstakes promotions are highly regulated to ensure fairness. So Attention, our social media partner, turned to us when they needed a dependable development team to implement an in store sweepstakes program they had designed for The Sports Authority.
On the day of the sweepstakes, customers who checked into the store using Foursquare, were automatically entered into an hourly drawing. The winner for each hour was selected at random based on their time of check-in.
To comply with sweepstakes regulations, our system was designed to select winners at random and inform them in real time at hundreds of stores throughout the country. The program was a complete success, due in part to the robustness of our custom sweepstakes management system.
