As the world’s largest English and French bilingual university, The University of Ottawa needed a mobile site that would enable seamless switching between the two languages. For our multinational development team, building a dual language interface was almost second nature.
The mobile site was created with the same key design elements as the desktop web site, but simplified for faster response and readability on smart phone screens.
The mobile site, however, does not sacrifice functionality for usability, but blends the two into an intuitive interface with a series of sophisticated back end connections that allow users to access a wealth of information that is of particular importance when they are away from their desks.
