Project Description
Should Barbie take Ken back for Valentine’s Day? Who better to ask than Barbie’s most loyal fans? And what better way than to have them vote via Facebook? That’s exactly what our social media marketing partner dreamed up and hired us to develop.
Of course, fans wanted to do much more than just vote. They wanted to comment, share and engage, which is why we made sure they had all the social media tools necessary to have their votes counted and voices heard.
Barbie and Ken fans took their voting responsibility very seriously and were given plenty of background on their relationship, which began in the spring of 1961, to make an informed decision. Like most relationships, this one had its ups and downs, but ultimately fans voted overwhelmingly for the couple to reunite.
