Lancome – House of Color
Project Description
For the launch of a new line of eye shadow for Lancome US, Attention, one of our social media marketing partners, turned to us to develop an upbeat Facebook application replete with video, contests and a virtual makeup applicator aptly named the “Magic Mirror”.
The Magic Mirror lets users apply any of the different eye shadow palettes to the photograph of a model, or to their own uploaded photograph. With intuitive click and drag controls users can easily adjust the shape, position and intensity of the eye shadow to achieve the desired look.
Using fine grained textures, the developers created a very realistic look for the virtual make up applicator, so users were thrilled to share their creations via social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and Email.
